We will meet on Zoom.
A two week, 4-class series of exploratory listening practice and Awareness Through Movement: Slow, pause, listen. Be fallow for an hour or so. Allow your inner space to come forward. There is nothing required of you. What thoughts and feelings need to be heard? What parts feel disconnected, dimmed, or misaligned? Gather insights into how your physical state is inextricably connected to your attention, and how you can use that to restore a sense of ease, self-understanding, and purpose to move into another year.

THE FELDENKRAIS METHOD® ATM® classes offer a stage for us to sense and explore different kinds of functional movement in our own bodies through slow, small and gentle movement. In class, you are guided toward noticing inconvenient or troublesome movement patterns and finding your way to freer, easful, and intentional movement. Come with curiosity, a desire to increase your awareness of yourself; and openness to learning through an organic process that requires self-study and direction. Best for adults ages 18 and up, all experience levels. Requires auditory instruction. Sliding scale available.

PILATES is a movement practice that strengthens and lengthens muscle groups via low-impact endurance exercises. Its focus is largely on flexibility and core strength, and emphasizes proper postural alignment to support the weight of the spine. This mat class combines both classical and modern techniques and, with modifications, is suitable for all bodies.
